We are now on our 11th month of the 2025 masonic year. Most of you, if not all of you, are aware of what is happening in the lodge. Since the letters went out asking for help, we have not had anyone come forward to help. So, I’m not sure what more we can do. In the coming weeks there will be a letter coming out to address your options if you still want to be a mason.
Merging the lodge would be the best option for all of us but we are not being given that option by the Grand Lodge. As it stands now, we will need a Secretary, a Senior Warden, a Treasurer and a Junior Warden and, it would be nice to have someone step up and be Master. If not, I will be in my 4th year as Master and I am tired. So, if you are at all interested in helping, this is what the lodge needs.
As always, we will leave the light on for you.
Respectively,
Scott A. Mitchell, PM, WM
Brethren,
I apologize for the mistake I made in the notice last month. The dues amount is $95.50 and not $75. Remember that dues must be paid by December 31, 2025, to avoid suspension. Another change this year is that elections will be held in November and the installation of officers will be held in December.
Respectfully,
Mark E. Viertel, PDDGM, Secretary

Greetings Brethren,
This is Charlie Davis DDGM of the 25th District with some exciting news. After much time, the website for the 25th District is finally back up and running. We now have a website where we can update the brethren in the District about what is happening in the other Lodges.
The address for the website is www.25thpadistrict.org
As I travel through the District, I will be taking pictures as much as possible to add to the website. If you have any happenings within your Lodges and would like to other brethren know about it, please send it to the email address - 25thpadistrict@gmail.com and we will get it put on the website. You can email pictures or any dates that you have for upcoming events and they will be put on the calendar.
If you send pictures, please include what the activity is, list of members attending in order R to L, or L to R, where the activity took place and any other pertinent information you would like included.
Please put the word out as we would like to inform the brethren of this resource and hope you take advantage of it.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you and stay safe and healthy.
S&F Charlie Davis DDGM

IMPORTANT DUES
INFORMATION
The dues of Covenant Lodge No. 473 are $95.50 and can be paid by check, made Payable to Covenant Lodge No. 473, and sent to:
Mark E. Viertel, PDDGM,
Acting Secretary
103 N Euclid Ave Parker, PA 16049
There is a difference in when the dues need to be in by this year. Grand Lodge has decreed that all dues are to be paid by December 31st or suspension will happen. There is no longer any grace period if dues are not paid by December 31st. If you are suspended, you will begin losing Masonic service time and will have to go through the entire reinstatement process. If you are in financial hardship and cannot pay your dues, please contact the secretary.
